Apple Music anuncia los mejores 100 álbumes de la historia.

Apple Music acaba de publicar los que considera los mejores 100 mejores álbumes de la historia. El listado se gestó durante semanas, con un equipo de artistas como Maren Morris, Pharrell Williams, J Balvin, Charli XCX, Mark Hoppus, Honey Dijon y Nia Archives, así como compositores, productores y profesionales de la industria.

En días anteriores habían ido publicando posición por posición a cada producto musical, pero el día de hoy finalmente apareció el Top 10 y el sorpresivo número 1.

El género que encabezó la lista fue el Hip Hop, el cuál consiguió insertar un total de 21 álbumes. El siguiente género fue el Rock. Sorpresivamente, el pop se mantuvo como el cuarto género musical en el listado, representando apenas un 13.3% de los mejores discos según Apple. Si se quiere ver por tiempos, la década mejor valuada fue la de los 90s, mientras que la peor es la presente.

Como es habitual en estos listados, lo popular gobierna y solo hay un disco de metal y nada relacionado con el clásico, flamenco o grabaciones étnicas, así que Apple Music Classical se queda completamente de lado. Y ni hablar de la música electrónica, en el que solo escogieron 6 álbumes: Body Talk, de Robyn (No. 100); Untrue de Burial (No. 94), Blue Lines de Massive Attack (No. 87); Trans-Europe Express de Kraftwerk (No. 71); y Homogenic de Björk (No. 45).
